Life in San Cassiano

San Cassiano is easy to explore on foot. There is no through traffic in the centre of the village, making a stroll part of everyday life, even when you are not heading into the mountains. Shops, rustic mountain huts, bars and restaurants are all close by, as are the village church and the Ursus Ladinicus Museum, which tells the story of Ladin culture and the history of the valley. For those who want to head higher, the lift is just a few minutes away – while for everyone else, hiking trails begin right outside the door.
