Meet your hosts the Canins family

A new way of thinking about holidays.
From personal experience.

Every remarkable place begins with a story. Lagació’s story began with a dream of a holiday that Margareth and Pio Canins had carried with them for many years. As a family with three young children, they were searching for a place that combined the comforts of a luxury hotel with the freedom of a private Hotel. Spacious suites with their own kitchen, an excellent breakfast, personal hospitality and the opportunity to shape each day entirely according to their own wishes. But they never found such a place.

Unable to find it, they created it themselves.

And so Lagació was born – a hotel for discerning guests who prefer to experience their stay entirely at their own pace rather than follow a set routine. With spacious suites, their own kitchen and the freedom to shape each day according to individual preferences: cook for yourself, discover the restaurants in the surrounding area or start the morning in complete relaxation over a leisurely breakfast. At the same time, as our guests you enjoy the attentive service of a family-owned hotel – from an excellent breakfast to personalised recommendations and carefully considered touches. Lagació was not created as a business concept, but from the conviction that travel should be both effortless and deeply personal.

This philosophy runs through the entire Lagació team. Everyone will treat you with attentiveness, warmth and a subtle sense of when you need a helping hand and when the greatest luxury is uninterrupted time for yourself. The result is an atmosphere in which you feel welcome from the very first moment – effortlessly and without the need for many words.
