Round the Sella Group and beyond

 

Theme routes – an elating experience of nature and what people have made of it. Sella Ronda, probably the most popular route, takes skiers across four Dolomite passes to four skiing areas around the impressive Sella Mountain Group. The Gebirgsjäger (“Mountain Infantry”) ski route confronts visitors with the history of the region during World War I: it takes you to finds dating from that period, to trenches, parapet walks and forts. Less taxing but highly enjoyable is the Heilig Kreuz Gourmet Ski Tour or a family outing to Edelweisstal/Val Stella Alpina.
